Goodbye 2015 and Welcome 2016!

It has been a great year for Scratch My Belly, we have accomplished so many wonderful things that would be hard not to be excited about putting this year in review.

Running a rescue is nothing glamorous or fancy, it takes a lot of financial assistance, and love for animals to keep us going.

This year, we meet some amazing people, people that have restored our faith that there are still good people out there. Most people don’t see what really goes on behind the scenes, what it really means to “rescue an animal”, the prep-work, coordination, transport, volunteers, matching fosters, assessing the ability to financially back a dog, vet visits and most importantly screening for the “right” adopter to give our pups 110% chance of a FOREVER loving home.

With all that being said, I have to say “THANK YOU” to all the people that have believed in giving a rescued dog another chance; thank you to our amazing fosters, this would not be possible without your help; to our supporters, as many of our dogs have exceeded our average vetting cost and without financial help we would not have been able to do this.

As we close 2015, and get ready for 2016, we ask you to JOIN us in sharing, donating, volunteering and sponsoring our rescue. Our goal is to save 100 lives this coming year!
